Street / Still Life / Travel

My favorite use of my camera is capturing still life, regardless of where it is or how it got there: to capture that which is not living but does possess a special, still energy. I enjoy the challenge of looking for patterns, designs, and the aesthetic of several items having just been placed by someone else’s hand. I find these still life subjects at home, on the streets, and while travelling. A kind of evidence of humans, without having to include people in the photo. I love this.
